For: Brthrs Agency Client: Power4People Year: 2022
Context
Power4People helps people to get a career and a life they deserve. They deliver training and coaching sessions. Power4People wants more conversion and a new easy to maintain website. So I worked on this project as lead designer to create a branding and website that fits their new concept.
The challenge
On their old website, you can shop sessions as you would shop for your clothes or hardware. But these sessions are not your average daily, weekly or even monthly purchases. The programs are life-changing, but the users need to search for more information on the old website. Because of this, Power4Ppeople are getting a lot of wrong quotations. The programs must be more informative, and the branding must deliver information more straightforward.
Another challenge presented itself when the client asked to keep the logo and the colour in their logo. I could see why the client wanted to keep the logo, but the blue colour can be challenging with creating a colour pallet.
Creating the concept and applying it
Because I had to keep the logo’s blue colour, I created three concepts in which the blue colour was on different levels of importance. After the client chose the concept, I made a style guide.
This concept is about the dashed line that represents life. Across this path, people sometimes stumble against negative and positive things. Power4People is there to help them in both cases.
The website is primarily split into two parts. Therefore, I thought of a segmented controller where the user can switch between the two parts. My website concept uses a lot of whitespaces to let the user breathe in the extensive information. There is a lot of information for the user, and I wanted to ensure they have the time and space to read it. But too much whitespace and the user does not feel invited to scroll further. To solve this, I used the style elements in-between content.
